Across 1,300 miles of sparkling coastline, you’ll find plenty of Florida beach destinations. But only one offers both beautiful beaches and tons of inland entertainment with a quaint, small-town setting.

Daytona Beach truly has it all, and it’s a must-visit destination for your next vacation!

Easy Access to Entertainment

Daytona Beach is on Florida’s eastern Atlantic coast, giving visitors access to white sand and ample sun. There are plenty of classic beach activities to do during your stay; fishing, stand-up paddle-boarding, parasailing, and sunbathing.

But if you want to do something else during your trip, you have plenty of options. Walk along the Daytona Beach Boardwalk for some crazy fun at family-owned businesses. You can play arcade games at Mardi Gras Fun Center or stock up on fun candy from Zeno’s Boardwalk Sweet Shop.

Museums, such as the kid-friendly Museum of Art and Science (MOAS) and the Southeast Museum of Photography, provide an air-conditioned refuge with a side of intellectual stimulation.

Manatees and Dolphins

Thanks to its location on the Florida Intracoastal Waterway and its proximity to natural hot springs, Daytona is an ideal location for spotting manatees and dolphins. Manatee season is at its peak during colder seasons, meaning you’ll likely see them from November through March. Head to Blue Spring State Park to watch these gentle giants from an observation deck.

Dolphins like to play and hunt in the calm waters and fish-trapping inlets of the Intracoastal Waterway. You’ll probably see dolphins from the beach, but there are plenty of boat and paddleboard tours that’ll take you to some of their popular hangouts. Plus, many of these tours focus on manatees as well, so you’ll get to see both

Racetracks and Amusement Parks

The Daytona International Speedway is a major destination for all NASCAR fans. You can visit the speedway to take in a racing event, or do a racecar ride-along with a professional driver! This is a great way to spend a rainy day in Daytona, especially when vacationing with kids.

Get your adrenaline pumping by visiting Screamer’s Park, one of the amusement parks at Daytona Beach. Or visit some of the waterparks, like the Daytona Lagoon, for exciting water slides.

Restaurants and Bars

Daytona is home to some of the most traditional bars and restaurants you’ll find in Florida. A crowd favorite is The Oyster Pub, where you can watch every sport on their many TVs while filling up on raw or fried oysters.

If you’re single and looking to mingle, Main Street Station is where it’s at. They have a host of events scheduled, from live bands to Battle of the Babes. Check out this biker bar for some hardcore fun!

Yaya’s Beachside Bar is “where the locals get loco”! This is the perfect hangout spot, with darts, billiards, and a variety of tabletop games. Don’t forget karaoke on the weekends!

Daytona Beach has endless entertainment options for the whole family. Book your flight to Daytona today!
