Are you going to Myrtle Beach for your Spring Break? Then look no further! We’ve collected the best things to do in Myrtle Beach to make your Spring Break unforgettable!

Explore the Boardwalk and Promenade

The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade allows you to enjoy pristine views of the ocean while staying sand-free. You could spend an entire afternoon exploring the cute shops and restaurants!

This oceanfront boardwalk is over a mile of fun and excitement, from haunted houses to arcades and more. Get lost in the Mirror Maze inside Ripley’s Believe It or Not! or fly high on the famous SkyWheel.

When you’re ready to grab some food, there are plenty of dining options up and down the promenade. You’ll find more than enough variety, from Greek cuisine at Abraham’s Gyros to Mexican food at Bandito’s Cantina.

Escape to Myrtle Beach State Park

When you’re ready to get away from the Spring Break madness, make your way to Myrtle Beach State Park.

Just a 10-minute drive away, this nature retreat has relaxing beaches, quaint picnic spots, a couple hiking trails, and an Insta-worthy fishing pier.

Visit the Amusement Parks

Family Kingdom is home to over 35 amusement rides for kids of all sizes. You have the option of purchasing a pass for all-day fun or buying a few ride tickets if you’re only there for a couple hours.

When you’re ready to cool down, swap out the shorts and shirt for bathing suits and head down the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk to Myrtle Waves Water Park. Rated as one of the best 11 water parks in the country, Myrtle Waves has it all, from tube slides to wave pools.

Have a Unique Culinary Experience

Art Burger Sushi Bar merges art and food, featuring an art gallery, gourmet burgers, sushi, and liquid nitrogen-infused cocktails. Appetizers are tasty and fun—try the Fried Chicken Roll! Burgers made from locally sourced hormone-free and grass-fed beef are named after famous artists such as the Rembrandt Burger or Picasso Burger.

Designed like a scientists’ laboratory, The Chemist is one of Myrtle Beach’s most interesting restaurants, emphasizing molecular gastronomy in both food and beverages. Servers dressed in lab coats can introduce you to the three menu sections: Variables (Appetizers), Theory & Research (Entrees), and Sweet Conclusion (Desserts). Entrees include familiar foods with a twist such as the Grilled Cheese Panini or unique offerings like coriander-dusted Ahi Tuna. The bar features several house-made craft cocktails that are served in science beakers!

Hang at the Beach

No trip to Myrtle Beach would be complete without some time in the sand! Grab an ice cream or a frozen lemonade and bask in the warm water of the Atlantic.

If you want to up the ante, visit one of the shops and rent some boogie boards! Just be sure to grab your sunscreen.

Pro tip: Save money by packing your own towels and snacks!

Tour Ripley’s Aquarium of Myrtle Beach

When you’re ready to get out of the sun and spend some quality time in air-conditioning, head over to Ripley’s Aquarium.  Learn more about the local animals, Myrtle Beach’s conservation efforts, and if you’re really brave, pet some stingrays!

Check out the aquarium’s live show schedule before you go to plan your trip around some of their most popular performances. You can save time and money by purchasing tickets ahead of time.
